Built for field conditions

The onesurvey mobile app is designed for people who work outside an office — in villages, markets, hospitals, retail stores, and remote field sites. It doesn't assume ideal conditions. It assumes your surveyor might have no signal, a low battery, and a queue of respondents waiting.

Offline-first by design

Every response is saved locally on the device the moment it's submitted. There's no waiting for a network call to complete. No spinner. No failure.

When any connectivity is detected — Wi-Fi, mobile data, even a brief 2G signal — all queued responses sync to the cloud automatically in the background. The surveyor doesn't need to do anything.

Background audio recording

When enabled on a survey, the app starts recording audio the moment the surveyor opens the form. Recording continues in the background while they fill in each question. The audio file is attached to the response automatically — capturing the full interview without a second device.

Role-based access

Surveyors only see the surveys assigned to them by their organisation admin. They cannot access surveys from other teams or other organisations. Access is controlled entirely from the web admin panel — no changes needed on the device.
